FedEx would not take it back because they said my return label was wrong. So frustrated that I trashed the package at the FedEx store. Called June 22 looking for an item.
Unfortunately we got cut off. How unhelpful was that? Vanessa was looking around the site to see if she could find what I was describing a matching top to a dress. I ordered a couple shirts for my Dad for Father's day. I used the expedited 1 day shipping. I ordered them on a Thursday thinking that the order would be processed on Friday and delivered on Saturday, the day before Father's day.
Gap doesn't tell you an expected ship date until a couple days later and now I find out that the order won't make it in time for Father's Day. I called them and told them it never said the delivery date would be so much later than 1 day, they said I should have found their delivery policy online.
I asked them to refund the expedited delivery and they said they would not do that. So you are going to hide the expected delivery date from your customer, and then won't refund the cost of the expedited shipping once it was clear that there wasn't any notification during ordering.
Gap also didn't inform me that this purchase would be a Mail Only return until after I was sent the confirmation email for the order. If I had known that you can't return the item in the store, I would have shopped somewhere else. So, I ordered a pair of shorts from them online at the store as they didn't have my size at the store. It arrived within their business days as they said it would. But, it came with a disgusting surprise I emailed customer service last night June 4th and am still waiting for a response from them.

Get the Visa company and number off of the back of your credit card and file a complaint. Visa needs to deal with this immediately. I shopped at the Gap for all my kids and friends kids all the time. So, annually we spent a lot, regardless of their sales. Steer clear of this location. The manager Alysa was horrifically loud and rude and refused to complete an exchange.

Waited until today to use my GapCash voucher. All the prices in my cart were no longer on sale. Not using the so called GapCash the day before was cheaper. Been a customer for many years. Shop for my 11 grandchildren often.
I just had one of the worst customer service experiences at the Gap in Bayshore Mall located in Greendale, Wisconsin. The manager was horrifically loud and rude and did not know how to complete an online return. My son's bookbag broke twice in one year. This is not a company to buy a bookbag for your kids to go to school.
It is just as bad as Toys R Us selling bookbags that break in one month. It is best to buy bookbags from L. Bean with a lifetime warranty. After my Irena arriving a day late, it was not what I ordered! The representative tried very hard to convince me this what I ordered but luckily the receipt for the order showed the correct item. I clearly ordered the raw hem! Not the regular hem! Gap Cash is a total scam. They advertise that you earn Gap Cash after making a purchase, but they are valid only for certain dates in the future.
I put things in my cart before the Gap Cash validity dates. They jacked up their prices for the Gap Cash dates. I live in Charleston, South Carolina and this is the second time this has happened to me. On two occasions this has happened. Well tonight was the final straw. I contacted the corporate office and I'm waiting for them to contact me. I just want to shop in peace without being followed throughout the store.
I placed an order in Dec 31st. Was so excited about my order. I had ordered workout tights and shirts to go with them. More than half of my ordered was canceled. They wait to tell me on Jan 3. After only 2 items were shipped. You should know if things are out stock before you place your order. No more GAP for me. I will stick with Nike! I am really disappointed with Gap credit card. I have been using multiple different credit card. I never ever faced any problem. However, l have been still trying to delete any trace in gap account.
They are not able to give good service. I used one or two times. However, it was full of problem. The website does not load well. Customer services always translate anyone else who they are, l do not even know. Always blaming another one. I was telling them l paid online and l have a confirmation number. I mean my mother does not speak a lot of English and the store does not have a line for paying, so my mom was standing next to the customer that was paying at that moment but she was a little tired holding the cloths that she was trying to buy for the grand daughter, so she put it on the cashier without asking or saying a word, that the cashier name Akali shout at her and said she is not finish with the customer, i saw the sitution then i ask her , is that cloth stopping you from the customer that you are servicing then she turn around with the customer again.
Then when its my mom turn to pay, she was trying to pay by credit card and that girl was looking at my mom like she is stupid and said your card had a chip, just put it in there.
I held my word and trying to walk away but when she hand over the shopping bag, she held it like a ft high and seem like my mom got some kind of diseases or something and without saying thank you for shopping in gap and please come again, then I got mad at that moment , I need to speak to the manager and the manager said she will get the girl to apologize.
Then the girl came to us and said she does apologize for the misundering She did not say sorry at all and try to blame it on the customer before my mom and said she wasn't comfortable with my mom standing next to her, I find that funny because cashier table has two side paying counter, what does that mean? That means there is two customer will be serve at the same time, if I was the customer, can I ask the cashier not to let the other cashier to charge the other customer on the side until I am finish because I feel uncomfortable have an other customer standing next to me?
All I saw was a cashier, a races baby gap employee! An uncivilized ,uneducated and untrained baby gap employee! The price is a bit expensive with discount which is helped. But the children's clothes should have a good price not like as adult price almost The help I received from the employees was fantastic.
I was able to find the perfect jeans for my teenagers. I shopped at the Gap store at the Grove Los Angeles on January 11 and both Nancy and Edwin were very helpful and very gracious with the customers. I was served by Agnes at the Emeryville store.
She was so helpful and really wanted me to get the right garments. Thank you for having such a good person working at the store. I truly would shop there again, if Amy would wait on me. I went to your store last night,and I was happy to find out that now kids and adults gap are in ONE spot!
PLUS the ladies that helped me were amazing! Bryant gave a warm welcome into the store. He was every helpful and knowledgeable about gap clothing. Give that guy a raise! I found my experience at GAP a very pleasant one. Pedro did take care of Us and as always the best service and attention ,we are very Satisfied also with the Manager Paula great Lady.
